How to wax your car
Ideally, you should wax your car two times a year. It helps keep it looking new and ensures that dirt and wet weather will not leave permanent makings on your car.
Things You'll Need
- Clean towels that you only use on your car

Thoroughly wash and dry your car.

Apply car wax on a clean sponge in small circular motions to the roof of the car. Do not use more wax than the size of a quarter on the sponge. When the sponge looks dirty, squeeze it out. Apply new wax when your sponge becomes dry.

Apply the wax in the same circular motions to the hood, sides and back of the car. Use a new sponge for the hood area. Do not wax the windows, door handles, locks or any plastic parts of the car. Work quickly and effectively. Do not let the wax sit on the car for a long time.

4
Allow the wax to dry. Use the clean towels to rub off the dry wax. Remove the wax in the same order that you waxed the car. Start with the roof and end with the back. Make sure you remove all the dry wax from the car.
