How to Keep Footie Pajamas from Sliding off Baby's Feet

It's wintertime and you have those great hand-me-down footie pajamas from an older brother or sister sibling to put on your baby. Unfortunately, the pajamas are a little bit long for the baby, maybe they're a size too big. Every time the baby crawls around she gets her feet jammed up in the top of the pajamas and trails around the empty legs, eventually crying in frustration. No problem! Here is an easy solution to let her continue wearing the pajamas until she grows into them, or until summer, whichever comes first.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Lay the baby on the changing table.
Step2
Pull the pajamas up so the feet are in the footie area and all the excess leg material is above the knee of the pajamas.
Step3
Take one of your hair scrunchies and slip it over the baby's foot.
Step4
Pull the scrunchie up above the baby's knee. The scrunchie should be barely tight enough to stay on the leg. If you use a big scrunchie, they are usually looser, which is what you want. You want it to hold back the material, but not pinch the baby. Repeat this on the second leg.
Step5
Set the baby on floor and watch her crawl around happily!
