How to Clear Vacuum Hoses
Don't you hate it when your vacuum hose gets plugged up, and you just can't find the clog? Here's an easy way to clear that clog quickly, so you can get your housework done quickly, too. Does this Spark an idea?

Remove both ends of the hose from the vacuum.

Hold the hose as straight as possible.

Drop the table knife into the hose.

The weight of the table knife should dislodge the clog.

If the knife comes out the other end of the hose, you're clog-free.

Rinse off the knife and get vacuuming.

Tips & Warnings
If you do this every month or so, even if there isn't a clog, you'll keep the hoses free and clear all the time.
Don't use a kitchen knife, the sharp blade could cut the hose.
