Mushrooms are a great complement to every day meals. Used especially in Asian dishes, the mushroom provides vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, cobalamins ascorbic acid.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A variety of mushrooms!

Step1
Choose a variety of mushrooms. In local grocery, there are usually button mushrooms and portabello mushrooms. Search elsewhere and you'll typically find that mushrooms at Asian or specialty markets come in many forms. Choose a variety of mushrooms, such as shiitake, maitake, oyster and enoki.
Step2
Bring the mushrooms home. Rinse them thoroughly. Slice them on a cutting board and get ready to toss in the pan.
Step3
Put a little olive oil in a stir fry pan or skillet. Saute the mushrooms. Add soy sauce, teriyaki, Worcester sauce and garlic. Saute. These marinated mushrooms can be tossed on top of chicken, white fish or thinly sliced meat.
Step4
Rinse, slice and throw button mushrooms on top of a salad--uncooked.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always rinse the mushrooms and eat soon after you purchase them at the super market.
  • If you have food allergies, consult a doctor before consuming a variety of mushrooms.
