MLB Extra Innings is a great way to catch all of the Major League Baseball action you could want to see. However, it is somewhat expensive. Your wife may not be crazy about you spending over one hundred dollars to watch baseball games on television. But, it's possible to convince your wife to let you order MLB Extra Innings.

From Quick Guide: Watching Sports on Television
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Explain to your wife that ordering MLB.TV doesn't make as much sense as ordering MLB Extra Innings. MLB.TV is cheaper than MLB Extra Innings but it is also less consistent. Because of airs in the system, MLB.TV has been known to black out games for users that shouldn't be blacked out. Also, depending on internet connections, many games lag or cut out completely on MLB.TV. This won't happen if you have MLB Extra Innings.

  2. Step 2

Tell you wife how good a deal MLB Extra Innings is overall. Remind her the baseball season is 162 games and that, with MLB Extra Innings, you could see every team play every game. For less than 200 dollars a season, you truly are getting your money's worth.

  3. Step 3

Convince your wife that you need to watch all of these games to help you in your fantasy baseball leagues. This is a very useful tactic if you are in a money league. Your wife will learn to love MLB Extra Innings if you win money in your fantasy baseball leagues.

  4. Step 4

Remind your wife that you could actually save money by ordering MLB Extra Innings. Instead of going out to watch baseball games, you can stay at home and watch any game you want. This means that you can eat and drink at home. Since you won't be going out to a restaurant or bar as often, you'll actually be spending less money during the regular season.

  5. Step 5

Be willing to not spend money on other things in order to afford MLB Extra Innings. For example, you could offer to not buy as much MLB merchandise. If you're willing to make a trade-off of that nature, ordering MLB Extra Innings shouldn't be a problem.
