A common sign of aging is droopy eyelids. This is usually caused by a loss of elasticity in the muscles of your eyes. Things You'll Need:

  • Proper sleep
  • Water
  • Healthy fruit and vegetables
  • Gel packs
  • Plastic surgery
  1. Step 1

Sleep as much as possible. If you are constantly sleep deprived, then you are definitely going to experience periods of droopy eyelids. Your body needs to be well rested in order to function properly. If it does not get necessary sleep, then it will display it in several different ways. Getting at least eight hours of sleep per day will decrease the occurrence of droopy eyelids. You'll feel totally rejuvenated and almost able to do anything.

  2. Step 2

Drink a large amount of water daily. Nourishment is a great way to prevent droopy eyelids and other negative risks to your body. Not only will you feel healthier, but you won't experience overly dry skin either. Having increased elasticity in your skin will delay wrinkles and droopy eyelids from becoming apart of your everyday look.

  3. Step 3

Eat as much healthy vegetables and fruits as possible. This will most definitely give your body the proper nourishment it needs on a regular basis. When you are eating well, you can also feel more focused with your daily activities. Not eating properly will cause you to feel as though you are run down. You won't have the chance to finish important tasks if you are not focusing on them.

  4. Step 4

Place cool gel packs on your eyes regularly. It will give you a nice boost when needed. In the morning before going to work, you can take a few minutes to relax and reduce some of the swelling around your eyelids. This method is an affordable and quick technique for getting rid of droopy eyelids.

  5. Step 5

Get plastic surgery for your droopy eyelids as a last resort. If you have tried numerous methods to get rid of them and nothing has worked, then you may want to consider a cosmetic procedure. Although these procedures can be extremely pricey, some clinics can offer affordable pricing. Many of them have payment plans that will not cause a drastic dent to your wallet. Just remember that doing this procedure will not permanently prevent aging signs, but will only delay them for a bit.
