Quesadillas are an excellent choice for a family meal. You can take just about any ingredients you want and add them to the quesadilla to suit it to your personal taste. They are also very easy and quick to make if you use a quesadilla maker.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tortillas
  • Cheese
  • Quesadilla maker
  • Any other food items you want to add (chicken, meat, beans, tomatoes, peppers, etc.)
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  1. Step 1

Get the quesadilla maker out and plug it in with the lid opened up. This will allow the quesadilla maker to heat up.

  2. Step 2

Take the non-stick cooking spray and lightly coat both the top and bottom cooking surfaces on the quesadilla maker. This will prevent the tortilla from sticking and ruining your quesadilla.

  3. Step 3

While the quesadilla maker is heating up, get out a tortilla and fill it with whatever ingredients you want. Make sure to include cheese as this is the main staple of any great quesadilla. Once you have everything you want on the first tortilla, take a second one and place it over the top as you would when making a sandwich with two slices of bread.

  4. Step 4

Place the quesadilla on the quesadilla maker and close the lid. Allow 2 to 3 minutes for the quesadilla to cook. Check it periodically since cooking times may vary based on temperatures and brands of quesadilla makers. The quesadilla is done when both sides are golden brown.

  5. Step 5

Finally you can sit down and enjoy your quesadillas with your family without feeling stressed since they were quick and easy to make.

Tips & Warnings
  • For a tasty dessert consider substituting cheese, chicken and other ingredients for sugar, cinnamon and butter.
  • Cooking time for each quesadilla will vary based on brand and cooking temperature of the actual quesadilla maker you have.
