Trick or treating is a fun event for most kids, but it could be a different experience when you are going to trick or treat for Halloween with your crush. Things seem to change when you find yourself becoming interested in the opposite sex. Going trick or treating with your crush may make Halloween more fun and less childish to you. If you are planning to trick or treat with your crush, here are some suggestions to make it a ghoulish time to remember.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check with your friends to see where they will be going. It will relieve some of the tension when you go with mutual friends instead of going alone. Ask around to search out every option. There may be Halloween parties and other activities going on for that night. Make a plan with your best friend to bring her crush along, too.

  2. Step 2

Suggest couple costumes, if you feel comfortable with that. Guys sometimes don’t like to dress up at all, let alone be a couple for Halloween. Discuss this idea with your crush and then come up with something cute like Cleopatra and Julius Caesar or Pocahontas and John Smith. Other ideas would be dressing as boy and girl prisoners or pirates.

  3. Step 3

Plan your ride. Transportation may be an obstacle if you don’t yet have a drivers license. One of your parents can drive you to the general area that you will meet your friends and then pick you back up at a specified time when you are ready to go home. Ask your crush to ride with you and get directions to her house.

  4. Step 4

Make a special treat for your crush. You can give the treat to him when you pick him up or save it until the end of your evening. Any treat would be a nice gesture, rice crispy treats, a caramel apple, cookies or brownies. You could even make up a treat bag with all of his favorite candies.

  5. Step 5

Opt to go to a Halloween party together. If you feel that you are too old to go out on Halloween and trick or treat, chances are good that someone that is your age will be throwing a Halloween party. Check with your crush to see what she will be doing that night and decide together which activity that you will do together.
