A neat application of makeup powder all over your face provides a finished look. Powder keeps your face matte and non-shiny and can be applied with a fluffy brush or compact puff.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Loose makeup powder Compact powder Fluffy makeup brush
  1. Step 1

    Start with a clean brush if you're using loose powder.

  2. Step 2

    Dip the tip of the brush into the powder.

  3. Step 3

    Tap the sides of the brush so that any excess powder falls back into its container.

  4. Step 4

    Look in a mirror before applying powder to get the best results.

  5. Step 5

    Apply the brush all over your face, dipping back into the loose powder if needed.

  6. Step 6

    For compact makeup, rub the compact puff over the makeup.

  7. Step 7

    Press the puff lightly into your skin, all over your face, until you have even coverage.

  8. Step 8

    Recheck your look in a mirror to make sure your makeup is perfectly blended.
