How to Type Smiley Faces

Communicating online is very different than communicating in person. Sometimes, tone of voice and inflection are lost in the shortcuts and symbols we use for online language. When you want the person you're chatting with to know you're being humorous, type in a smiley face and keep the tone light and casual.
