Shampoo your hair, and then do a final rinse in ice cold water. This helps to seal the hair cuticle, adding more sheen to your hair. Allow your hair to air dry.
-
2
Straighten your hair, allowing some time in between hairstyling steps before applying more heat. This will help to protect your hair from excessive heat damage.

Set straightened hair, using hot rollers. Section hair where curls naturally divide. Leave the hot rollers in for about 20 minutes, as the heat will help to hold the curl longer. Remove rollers and spray lightly with hairspray. Shake out curls and then carefully separate waves for a tousled look.

If you don’t have hot rollers, use a large-barrel curling iron on low heat to create extra large curls, waves and volume. Working with one section of hair at a time, loosely wrap hair around the outside barrel of the curling iron. Remove your hair from curling iron, and gently tease the waves using your fingers.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure to use a heat protectant spray as your hair will be exposed to a good deal of heat.
Apply olive oil in your hair once weekly. Leave it in for about an hour before washing it out. Olive oil works as a great conditioner, as it restores moisture and nourishes damaged hair helping to make it stronger, healthier and shinier.
Too much heat can be damaging to the hair. If your hair isn't used to having this much heat routinely applied, break in your hair gradually. Straighten your hair for a couple of days before exposing it to more heat by using hot rollers or a curling iron.
