Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gentle cleanser
  • Moisturizer for your skin type
  • Azelaic acid cream
  1. Step 1

Thoroughly cleanse the skin with a gentle cleanser. A good one to try is Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Facial Wash.

  2. Step 2

Apply a thin coat of moisturizer that is suitable for your skin type. Allow the moisturizer to dry on the skin.

  3. Step 3

Once every other evening, apply a thin coat of azelaic acid cream and allow to dry. As your skin becomes accustomed to the cream, increase frequency to each evening. If your skin will tolerate it, the azelaic acid cream may eventually be applied twice daily.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid rosacea triggers like excess sun exposure, spicy foods and harsh cleansers.
  • Always protect your skin with sun screen. Even when it's cloudy, your skin can still be burned or irritated.
