There are many signature moves from the WWE like Hulk Hogan’s Leg Drop, John Cena’s FU, Jeff Hardy’s Swanton Bomb and The Rock’s People’s Elbow. The People’s Elbow has entertained fans for many years and with a little work, you could be entertaining fans with the move as well.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Elbow Pads
  1. Step 1

Begin this move with your opponent lying on the mat face up. This should be in the middle of the ring where the move is more appealing and symmetrical.

  2. Step 2

Grab your opponent by the waist and slam their back into the mat. This should leave them dazed long enough for you to complete the move.

  3. Step 3

Stand over your opponent’s head and look out into the crowd and back towards the opponent’s feet. The Rock occasionally raises a single eyebrow during this part, but if you cannot do that, try a mannerism of your own.

  4. Step 4

Pull off the elbow pad that you plan on using to execute the move. Grab it with the other hand using a little style. Move in slow motion for effect. Once the elbow pad is fully pulled off, throw it into the audience.

  5. Step 5

With just your pointer fingers sticking out, wave your arms across each other in a fast motion.

  6. Step 6

Run towards the ropes to your right and bounce off of them. Run back and jump over your opponent’s body and towards the other ropes.

  7. Step 7

Bounce off the other set of ropes and run to the side of your opponent’s body and stop.

  8. Step 8

Lift your elbow up high into the air and slam it down into your opponent’s chest. This will usually be enough to gain the pin fall, so after this move you should immediately attempt a pin.
