1. She'll add you as a friend. Assuming you met the person beforehand, how long did it take for them to add you as a friend? If she adds you within a day or two of meeting, that is a very good sign. After she adds you, the ball is in your court. Accept her. However, after you accept her, do nothing else.

2. If they like you, they will send you a message. Once again, time is an issue here. How long after your friend acceptance did she message you? If she likes you, she'll most likely message within 1 to 3 days of the acceptance. However, if it takes longer to receive a message, it may not be a big deal.

3. How often does she leave comments on your wall? She will most likely leave comments on a regular basis. Keep in mind, this does not have to be every day. In fact, if she does leave comments every day, that's a bit creepy. Most girls want you to like them but do not want to come off as creepy.

4. After she messages you and has been leaving comments on your wall, go on to the next level. Message her back and give her your phone number. Tell her she should call you sometime. You've taken the next step in giving her the number, now the ball is in her court because she should call you. If she does not call you, there's a good chance she doesn't like you. Instead, she simply has an unhealthy obsession with MySpace.

5. Now, you will find out whether or not she truly likes you. Does she or doesn't she call you? If she sends you a message with her number saying she's been meaning to call you, then it's OK to call her. She may be too shy to make the phone call herself and wants you to make the first call. However, wait for her to call you after you initially give her your number. If she messages you first, take it from there and use your judgment.
