Things You'll Need:
- Straight chair
- Massage oil
- Soft music
- Candles for creating the mood
-
Step 1
The subject has to be in comfortable clothing for any massage. The goal is to help them relax, so any discomfort felt by the subject is going to distract from the massage. Have some soft music playing to help them in the quest for tranquility.
-
Step 2
Relax yourself. Massage the back of their head so they get rid of their initial stress. Make them feel comfortable with the surroundings and yourself. A relaxed subject will be able to enjoy the experience and let go of the outside world.
-
Step 3
Start with the shoulders. Bring your arms and hands to the subject's shoulders and neck. Starting from the neck, massage the shoulders to the neck with a nicely rounded motion. Repeat this about three times and increase the pressure each time. Massage the client's backbone with nicely rounded motions. After completing this three times, take your arms and roll outwards from the neck to the shoulders.
-
Step 4
The neck. Put one hand on the client's forehead and the other to the base of the neck in the back. Stroke from the below the collar to the top of the neck, without putting too much pressure on the forehead. Once you are at the base of the hair then tilt the head slowly forward and bring it back, doing this three times.
-
Step 5
The scalp massage. Place your hands on the side of your subjects head in a smooth motion, take them upwards while putting a light pressure to the scalp. Allow the heels of your hands to massage the head for some time and then move your hands to a different part of your subject's head. Repeat the motions three times
-
Step 6
The forehead. Take your fingers in a smooth motion along the eyebrows to the temples of your subject's head. Take your fingers, massage the temples in a rounded motion, then go ahead and repeat the operation three times. Press down in a gentle fashion on the subject's eyebrows and slowly go upwards. Keep this up for at least three times.
-
Step 7
The cheek bones. Gently massage the front of the face and the cheekbones with a very light motion and repeat for some time. Finish with gentle strokes from the front of the head to the back, making sure there is not too much pressure. The subject by now should have a feeling of being rejuvenated and alive with pleasure.
