1
Flirt with her. Most guys try to beat around the bush with their girl friend and insinuate that they like her. Skip this and flirt with her. Whether it's telling her she looks hot or saying slightly heated things to her, do it. She needs to see you as something more than harmeless.

2
Avoid the friend zone. Being her "friend" is the kiss of death. You cannot let her see you as a brother, a friend or any other harmless woodland creature. Don't talk with her about other guys or feminine problems. You want to talk to her in the same ways that potential boyfriends talk to her.

3
Make nights out into dates out. If she wants to go the movies, make it a date. Even if you have to say things like "Well, this makes our third date now." Do things that are date-associated like go to the movies, eat while seated on the same side of the booth and go to events together. Actions will stay with her long after you're gone and that may help you get into the boyfriend mentality.
-
4
Bring up the hypothetical of you two being together. Mention to her what it would be like if you two dated. Ask her what she thinks she would be like as your girlfriend or how you would treat her as her boyfriend. Hypothetical get her thinking and get her feeling.

5
Go for it. Ask her out. Don't make it a long presentation of how you've felt and how you're nervous to try and cross this line, just go for it and ask her out. The sooner you say it all, the better. She'll be impressed by your boldness and probably surprised enough to be curious and give you a shot.
