Things You'll Need:
- iPod
- PSP
- Computer
- USB cable/port
- Sony USB cable

Step 1
View hidden files. Before you start, you must configure Windows Explorer to view the hidden files on your iPod. Open "My Computer" and go to Tools > Folder Options > View. Click on the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" option.

Plug the iPod, using a dock or a USB cable. You should hear the Windows chime when you plug the device in.

Open the iPod through "My Computer." The iPod follows a protocol called the USB Mass Storage Protocol, meaning it will show up in "My Computer" just as any camera, flash drive or external hard drive does. In "My Computer," you will see a number of drives. The drive that indicates your iPod may change every time you plug it in, so just find the one that appeared when you plugged the iPod in.

Plug the PSP in to your computer, using the Sony USB cable. The Sony USB cable as a smaller end than other USB cables. You should hear a chime as you did when you plugged the iPod in.

Open the PSP in "My Computer." The PSP is a USB Mass Storage Device as well, and will show up as a drive in "My Computer."

Find the iPod's MP3 files on the iPod drive. You will see a number of folders labeled with single letters. All of your MP3 files will be in there, so select all of the folders.

Click and drag these folders from your iPod to your PSP. This process can take some time depending on how much music you have.

Close the iPod and PSP windows when the transfer is complete.

Unplug the iPod and PSP from your computer.

Power on the PSP. From the main menu, go to "Music." You should see all of your music from the iPod listed there.
