How to Tell a Set of Identical Twins Apart

As an identical twin, I had a lot of people confusing me for my twin and vice versa. However, all identical twins have slight differences that will help you tell them apart. This will involve studying the particular set of twins a little, so be prepared to do some groundwork.

      At first, you will look at the set of identical twins and be totally stumped as to the differences. However, one twin will be slightly larger than the other, usually the oldest twin.

      One twin will usually be taller than the other, so study their height carefully. One of their faces may be slightly rounder than the other twin. One twin might bite their fingernails while the other may have normal length fingernails.

      Identical twins may have totally different personalities; one may attract a lot of attention, the other may have few friends. Look carefully for blemishes, especially on the face as moles, scars and freckles may be located on different parts of their faces or opposite sides of the face like a mirror image of their twin.
