Spending an hour a week at a Perpetual Adoration Chapel is a peaceful way to increase your faith and give back to God. Here is how to spend an hour at a Perpetual Adoration Chapel.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Begin your time in the Perpetual Adoration by asking Jesus for mercy. You can do this by saying the simple prayer “Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” Meditate on this prayer while saying it for yourself and for those you care about.

  2. Step 2

Use your time in the Chapel to say the Rosary. Many Catholics don't say the Rosary as often as they should. An hour in a Perpetual Adoration Chapel is a the perfect time for a Rosary.

  3. Step 3

Sit in quiet reflection while in the Adoration Chapel. Psalm 46:10 says to “Be still and know that I am God.” There is no better place to do this than in the presence of Jesus Christ.

  4. Step 4

Read the Bible while in the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Reading the Bible should be apart of every Christian's daily life. Doing so in the stillness and quiet of the Adoration Chapel is an excellent way to grow in your spiritual life.

  5. Step 5

Read other religious books and materials while in the Adoration Chapel. For example, you could read the latest writings of the Pope or writings of previous popes.

  6. Step 6

Use your time in the Adoration Chapel to thank God for everything he has given you. Many Christians use prayer time as a way to ask God for things. However, when is the last time that you truly thanked God? The Adoration Chapel is the perfect place to show your gratitude to Jesus.
