Things You'll Need:
- Carrier oil, like vegetable oil
- Variety of relaxing essential oils like lavender, chamomile, bergamot, ylang ylang and sandlewood

Find a quiet place to relax. Keep lights dim and the temperature comfortable.

Mix two tablespoons of vegetable oil with a combination of essential oils known for their calming effect. A good combination to try is two tablespoons of carrier oil mixed with four drops of lavender and two drops of ylang ylang.

Step 3
Apply the oil mixture to your temples, the base of your throat and the insides of your wrist. The areas where skin is thin will allow the heat of your body to disperse the scent.

Inhale deeply and allow the stress of the day to leave your body as you exhale.
