How to Transfer images from computer to mobile

Transferring photos from your computer to your cell phone or mobile device is not difficult or time-consuming. With the right equipment and some time, your pictures could be coming with you shortly.

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer
• Cell phone
• Mobile device
• Handheld

1. Find out if your device, such as a cell phone, has a memory card.
2. Remove the memory card from the device and either insert it into your computer's memory card reader or the reader in your printer. Either one should have this. If you do not have this capability, go into an electronics store and purchase a USB plug in device that is a memory card reader. These are inexpensive and come with a variety of formats.
3. In the case you cannot do this, connect a USB cable from your computer to your device. Install any drivers ahead of time that you will need.
4. Be sure the device is detected and shows up as a drive letter or the actual device name in "My computer."
5. Another option is to sign up for your cell phone's pictures website and upload your photos from your phone or device for future viewing.
6. Drag and drop images either onto the memory card or using the attached USB cable. You must have drivers for any USB cable.
7. Check to make sure the pictures made it safely to your mobile device.

Tips & Warnings

• You can transfer the same pictures to different devices and computers.
• Not all cell phones and mobile devices will work with USB cables or provide drivers.
