This is arguably one of the most difficult tricks in Mario Kart 64, but it can be mastered. First, start the level "Rainbow Road."

The trick occurs right away so upon starting, position the racer towards the right side of the track.

Right away, the track starts off with a huge drop that normally would have the racers fly through the air. This is where the trick is.

Right as the course falls away, quickly steer the racer from the right side of the track to the left towards the barrier very sharply.

Right as the racer gets close to the barrier, hit the jump button and let the racer fly over the edge of the course.

If the trick is done properly the racer will land on another piece of the track. If not, the racer will fall off and be put back at the start of the race.

Tips & Warnings
Practice makes perfect and this one takes a lot of it. Figure out the best way to do it by practicing making sharper turns each time until the proper angle is discovered.
