How to wax your face even on a budget

Keeping your face smooth and hair-free can be pricey. You can get the same look at a fraction of the price simply by doing it at home.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Waxing kit
  • Tweezers
  1. Step 1

    Choose a waxing kit that is designed for facial hair. They can be found at your local drugstore or beauty store.

  2. Step 2

    Follow the directions on the package. Heat the wax to the appropriate temperature, taking care that it is not too hot.

  3. Step 3

    Use the tools provided to spread the wax smoothly and evenly on the hair you wish to remove.

  4. Step 4

    Apply the removal strip by firmly rubbing in the direction of hair growth.

  5. Step 5

    Allow the wax to harden for a few seconds, then pull the skin taught and remove the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use tweezers to maintain brows or get rid of persistent hairs.
  • Apply facial lotion to the affected area to reduce redness.
  • To avoid ingrown hairs, use a facial exfoliating product.
