Step 1
He sends you IM messages throughout the day, trying to get your attention. He’s using the Internet to communicate with you and may feel safer this way approaching you instead of directly approaching you in person.
-
Step 2
He does an Internet search for you and you get an email notice he is looking for you. Often, companies that perform searches on people over the Internet will alert you that someone has searched for your name. If you had a suspicion that someone liked you and get a notice like this, consider it a good sign they are returning your attention.
-
Step 3
He actually contacts you and asks you many personal questions, trying to get to know you more than just casually. Guys have clear ways of making their interest known. If you get lots of inquiries, consider it a yes. The guy is very interested in you.
-
Step 4
He visits your personal page on places like MySpace.com, Reunion.com and Facebook.com. It's a great way to get your virtual "bulletin board" out there and allow people to contact you in a casual way. If a guy starts inviting you to be his "friend" through the popular friend request features, consider it the first steps of flirting. Depending on whether or not you like him, contact him back and get the ball rolling.
