It is sometimes important to change things in your workout routine. Working in a new exercise to your routine can help keep it exciting and challenging. The neider press is good for those that are looking for something new and difficult. Not for the faint of heart, the neider press will push your workout to new heights.

Things You'll Need:

  • Bar and weights from the bench press
  1. Step 1

    The neider press is basically doing a bench press while on your feet. So it is important to make sure that you are careful with the amount of weight that you use.

  2. Step 2

    After you have selected your amount of weight, take the bar and extend it out from the top of your chest like a bench press moving in a more upward motion instead of straight out from your chest. Bring the bar back to rest on your chest after each extension.

  3. Step 3

    Repeat your extensions until your limit is reached using your legs as well as your arms during each extension.

Tips & Warnings
  • Balance is very important!
  • <br>Other objects besides the bench press bar may be used.
  • <br>Bend your knees and use your legs.
  • Be careful that you do not overestimate how many extensions you can accomplish.
  • <br>The neider press has the potential to be dangerous, so you cannot be overcautious.
