How to Prepare an Eczema Home Remedy

  1. Step 1

In a blender or food processor, grind down oats until they are a fine, powdery substance. Pour some powder in a glass of water to make sure the oats absorb the water and create a milky consistency.

  2. Step 2

Sprinkle the ground oatmeal into warm bath water. Soak in the tub for 10 to 15 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Dry yourself thoroughly with a towel made of cotton fabric. Pat the towel so you do not irritate your skin.

  4. Step 4

Mix a few drops of lavender essential oil into some vitamin E cream. Rub the cream into your skin.

  5. Step 5

Make sure the lotion has dried before dressing. Wear soft cotton clothes.

  6. Step 6

Apply the vitamin E cream with lavender oil on your skin once or twice a day until the patches of dry skin heal.
