How to Enjoy Marriott's Newport Coast Villas

Marriott's Newport Coast Villas provide a delightful location for vacation. Not only is right next to the Pacific Coast Highway with easy access to other great beach towns, it also offers fun things to enjoy right on the property.

1. Swim. Marriott's Newport Coast Villas offers two terrific pool locations: one near the 1100 building and one directly off of the main lobby. The satellite pool near the 1100 building offers a kiddie pool as well as the main pool and a hot tub. Fresh towels, lounge chairs and a BBQ pit are all available, as well as restrooms should your room not be right next to the pool. The main pool area, off of the main lobby, includes one big pool, a smaller pool, an adult (18 or over) pool, a hot tub and adult (18 or over) hot tub in addition to a snack shack, restrooms, plenty of lounge chairs and myriad locations to retrieve a fresh towel.

2. Play a little tennis. The tennis courts are at the very top of the resort right next to Newport Coast Drive. It's easy to arrange a lesson, just call the front desk. Or simply borrow a racket and some balls from the activity center and head on up to the courts for a fun time.

3. Enjoy ping-pong, monster chess or billiards. Right next to the main pool is a patio with lots of fun family games. You can engage in a ping-pong battle, play with gigantic chess pieces or test your skill at billiards. And there's an arcade right inside the building on the ground floor adjacent to the building in case you need a fix of air hockey or an arcade game.

4. Play some basketball and mini golf. In the mid-level of the resort is a playground, sport court set up for basketball and mini golf. It's a sure fire way to have fun with the family if everyone's getting tired of the pool.

5. Feed the fish. Between the main lobby and the sales center is a lovely waterfall and koi pond. Every other day you can bring the children up to the pond to feed the fish. The staff provides each child with a cupful of koi food to pour into the fish pond. The koi are delighted, the children are thrilled and a vacation memory unfolds. It's a fun way to spend an hour or so at the Marriott.
