How to watch YouTube videos on an iPhone

YouTube is one of the most popular online video sites. It is extremely easy to lose an entire day because you are watching some of the funniest video clips on the Internet. Even iPhone users can now fulfill their YouTube addiction. No matter where you are, you'll be able to easily enjoy your favorite YouTube clips as you travel. There is an endless supply of undiscovered videos on YouTube and with a few simple tips, you'll be able to enjoy YouTube on your iPhone.

  1. Step 1

    Tap the YouTube icon located on the main screen of the iPhone. It looks very similar to a small television. Once you touch this icon, it will immediately direct you to the YouTube homepage.

  2. Step 2

    Locate the “Search” button on the YouTube homepage. Gently touch the space for YouTube keywords to get started. Contact needs to be made with the keyword field in order to prevent useless typing.

  3. Step 3

    Use keywords that are either broad or specific to get your desired search results. Finding funny videos on YouTube is extremely easy because there are so many of them. Using the iPhone's virtual keypad will make your typing experience simpler and easier to locate videos.

  4. Step 4

    Highlight the “Video” icon when you get the desired search results. In order to access a chosen video, just press down on the icon using your index finger. Information about the video will be displayed on the iPhone screen.

  5. Step 5

    Tap the “Play” icon and your selected video will quickly start playing. You'll also have the choice to skip some of the other viewing options. Once the video starts playing, it will be located in the center of the iPhone screen.

  6. Step 6

    Touch the outside space of the main video screen to access the YouTube or iPhone video tools. Watching the video at your own pace can be simply done by using the rewind or fast forward options. The sliding bar option conveniently lets you pick any location in the video to start from or revisit.

  7. Step 7

    Create your own personalized YouTube icons and video toolbar on your iPhone. Just select the “Edit” tool to begin this process. You'll be able to find this feature by tapping the “More” icon at the top of the iPhone screen.
