Adobe Acrobat allows users to easily transfer and share important documents over the Internet. One of the best features available in this application is the full screen view. It comes in extremely useful when working with presentations and viewing online documents. Setting default preferences for full screen viewing can be done in a few simple steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • <br>PDF document
Step1
Click the "View" option in the top menu bar. It will show a drop down list of other available options. Select the "Full screen mode" and it will automatically switch your current PDF document. Switching between normal and full screen view can also be done by pressing "CTRL + L." This allows for easier viewing without having to go through extra actions.
Step2
Select the "Right" arrow key, "Up" arrow key and the "Enter" key to move to the next page of the full screen PDF document. Using these functions makes viewing online documents much easier to work with. It will also let you view these documents quicker.
Step3
Select the "Left" arrow key, "Down" arrow key, and shift + enter to move to the previous page of a full screen PDF document. Pressing these keys will allow less keystrokes. Instead of having to go through extra menu options, you'll be able to quickly view previous pages.

Set preferences for full screen view

Step1
Click the "Edit" option on the top menu bar. Once the drop down list is available to view, select the "Preferences" option. Doing this will allow you to customize the Adobe Acrobat experience even further.
Step2
Select "Full Screen" from the list of preferences on the left side. There will be a large number of features to select from. The dialog box that appears will give you access to all of the available "Full Screen" options.
Step3
Select the “Advance every” check box to have your PDF document automatically advance during different intervals. You will be able to type in the amount of seconds the PDF document changes. This feature comes in handy because you won't have to press any extra keys to advance the PDF document
Step4
Choose the “Full Screen Transitions” option if you would like the PDF document to change to a new page with special effects. There will be several transitions available to choose from. Instead of looking at a boring screen, you will be able to add a little pizazz to your viewing pleasure.
Step5
Close the “Preferences” dialog box when you have completed all of your changes. The new changes will automatically take effect the next time you open a PDF document for viewing. This will give you the opportunity to easily read PDF documents in full screen mode.
