1. Give him compliments. There is nothing better than giving a compliment to someone to put a smile on their face, so tell your crush that he looks great or he is really smart. He will definitely appreciate it, and you might find out some ways he admires you, too.

2. If you and your crush share mutual friends, break away from them for a while to spend one-on-one time together because you want your focus to be solely on him. Plus, you will have fewer jitters alone than in a group so you can make general conversations become a little more personal.

3. Laugh at his jokes and add positive body language by slightly touching his arm and saying, "You are so funny." From there, say that his goofiness is one of the things you really like about him or a sense of humor is one of the important qualities you love in a guy. Subtle hints such as these will get him thinking that you like him more than just a friend.

4. Include him in your plans if you are going to the movies, to a party or an amusement park with friends or family. Show him you like to spend as much time with him as possible in order to make him one of your important priorities.

5. Invite him over to your house for studying. This is a great way to have privacy and to ease your way into spelling out your feelings for the boy. Who knows, you might get him to kiss you and become your boyfriend.
