How to weigh the costs of cheating on your wife

Step1
Take a good long look at your relationship. If you are considering cheating you must ask yourself some very important questions first. Are you happy in your relationship? Does your wife fulfill your urges? If not, why not? Is it worth cheating on her, lying to her and possibly destroying your family; especially if you have children?
Step2
Weight the pros and cons. You know that by having an affair there will always be that cloud on your memory—knowing that you cheated. There is also the possibility of contracting an STD and passing back to your wife; or losing your wife altogether when she finds out and then having to experience a divorce.
Step3
Make a decision. After weighing the pros and the cons, is it still worth it? Do you love your wife enough to stay true, or are you willing to lie to her and betray her for inert sexual desires that have nothing to do with love?
Step4
Let her know. If you truly have decided to cheat on her, why cheat? Let her know that you are no longer interested in a relationship with her. There is no reason to lie and make the situation worse. If your wife no longer satisfies you for one reason or another, or many. You owe to her and yourself, and your family to do the right thing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep in mind that by cheating you are betraying the one you love and trust the most. Would you do this to your best friends? Would you expect them to do it to you?
  • By cheating you cross that barrier of no-coming-back. Are you prepared to deal with the consequences of such actions?
