How to Wear the Right Shoes

  1. Step 1

Always remember to put comfort first. You can work comfort into style more than you can work style into comfort.

  2. Step 2

Select your outfit and the occasion or event for wearing it and work your shoe style into it.

  3. Step 3

If you’re not sure what shoes would be appropriate for this occasion or for the outfit you have chosen, you can purchase some fashion magazines that will help you decide. You can also go online to fashion sites or fashion magazine sites and see what they suggest for your need.

  4. Step 4

If you require less fashionable shoes for your feet for health reasons, you can dress up those shoes and turn them into fashion. ie: You might not be able to wear the spike heals, but perhaps you can take a lower healed shoe and add a flower or ornament clip to the back of each shoe. This gives it style and adds a touch of fashion. You could also add a clip to the toe instead.

  5. Step 5

If you are required to wear walking or orthopaedic shoes, then you might want to put the emphasis on long flowing formal pants or skirts to give you that height of fashion while detouring the appearance of your shoes.

Tips & Warnings
  • The key is to wear comfortable shoes. Dress them up or down but don’t compromise your well being.
