My sun tea tastes great, inexpensive and has no calories. Great sun tea starts with good water. My first choice is fairly soft well or spring water. Filtered water is a good second choice. Most of the chlorine comes out in the sunshine so if you use tap water it will be ok.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A one gallon sun tea jug.
  • One gallon of water.
  • Three bags of Red Rose tea.
  • One bag of green tea.
  • 5 grains of Saccharin. (about 10 packets)
Step1
Put water in sun tea jug. Hang tea bags in water.
Step2
Set jug out in sun for at least four hours.
Step3
Bring tea in and remove bags.
Step4
Add Saccharin. and chill.
Step5
Enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't leave bags in water too long as they will begin to fall apart.
  • You can start a second batch the same day. Keep about a cup of the tea in the jug with the fresh water. It will become tea much faster.
  • You will not get fat drinking this stuff.
