  • 6 cups chopped and seeded watermelon
  • 1 cup sorbet
  • 12 ice cubes
  • Blender
  • Serving glasses
  • Mint or lemon

      Slice a watermelon in half or buy watermelon that is already sliced. Cut all seeds out of the watermelon before continuing to chop the watermelon into smaller cubes. Measure the watermelon in a measuring cup after cutting into cube-shaped pieces. The cubes do not have to be cut perfectly, as this is just for measuring purposes. Place the watermelon in a blender. Cover the blender and blend the watermelon until it forms a smooth paste.

      Scoop out 1 cup of sorbet. Choose a sorbet of your preference. Lemon sorbet is a suggested flavor and will give this smoothie drink a tangy and citrus kick. Orange or lime sorbet may also be delicious. Place only 1/2 cup of sorbet in the blender as well as six ice cubes. Cover the blender and allow the mixture to blend for a few seconds.

      Add the remaining six ice cubes and sorbet to the mixture and blend the mixture again. Allow the mixture to blend until a smooth and frothy texture is formed. This make take one to two minutes to make sure the ice is completely blended and there is no lumpy texture within the drink.

      Pour the delicious watermelon concoction into serving glasses, or store in the refrigerator to keep chilled.The recipe should serve six people. It is recommended to serve this drink immediately for the best taste. For a decorative touch, garnish each serving glass with a small piece of mint of lemon.
