Step 1
First things first.
Hair color can be an issue for some women. If you have light brown to dirty blonde hair this will work great for you. If you have dark hair my suggestion is to either get it done professionally or you can buy a Frosting cap, gloves, lock in the blond, and some Quick White hair froster. Frost your hair about 3 times but not in a row. Do this a few days to a week apart and condition well after each frost.
Now if you are a natural light brown to dirty blonde and you have dyed your hair browns or reds you are going to want to buy color fix hair color remover. It says you can use it more than once but i think you should use all contents of the box for the best results. This will remove any color you have in your hair except bleach.
After you use the Color Fix hair color remover you can do one of 3 things. -
Step 2
Quick White PowderHighlight
1. Highlight your hair with a frosting cap and quick white frost. Pull hair through all holes in the cap. After that mix your quick white with your ION 40 Developer add about 10 drops of the Lock in the Blonde (Lock in the Blonde is about .99 cents and helps to keep your blonde hair from turning yellowish orange or brassy. Keeps your hair a golden blonde). Mix till frost is a yellow. Apply all of the mixture to your pulled through hair and leave on for about 45 to 60 mins.
After this is done wash hair and Be sure to moisturize with ION conditioning cream with a shower cap on for about 30 - 60 mins. then rinse. Blonde is harsh on your hair so moisturizing is a must. -
Step 3
Ion 40 DeveloperDye
2. Dye your hair with your chosen shade of ION blonde hair dye. I suggest you get 2 of them (you will need to dye your hair 2 times). If you have longer hair maybe 3 to 4 (use 2 at a time).
The first time you use this dye it will not be the exact results but about 75% to what they should be. Mix the dye and ION 40 developer with 10 drops of lock in the Blonde (Lock in the Blonde is about .99 cents and helps to keep your blonde hair from turning yellowish orange or brassy. Keeps your hair a golden blonde). Mix til mixture is yellow. Leave mixture in for 45-60 mins. You can dye it again the same day but after the first time you dye it blow dry it and hairspray it. Wait about an hour. Make some lunch watch tv then do it again.
After this is done Be sure to moisturize with ION conditioning cream with a shower cap on for about 30 - 60 mins. Blonde is harsh on your hair so moisturizing is a must. -
Step 4
Lock in the BlondeDye & Highlight
3. After you have chosen your shade of ION blonde hair dye. Mix the dye and ION 40 developer with 10 drops of lock in the Blonde (Lock in the Blonde is about .99 cents and helps to keep your blonde hair from turning yellowish orange or brassy. Keeps your hair a golden blonde). Mix till the mixture is yellow. Leave the dye in for 45-60 mins. After this you will hightlight your hair. You can dye it again the same day but after the first time you dye it blow dry it and hairs pray it. Wait about an hour. Make some lunch watch tv then do it again.
Put on you highlighting cap and pull hair through all of the holes. Mix your quick White frosting powder with ION 40 Developer and the rest of your Lock in the Blonde drops. Mix till mixture is yellow. Put all of the mixture on your hair and leave for 45-60 mins. Wash your hair.
After this is done Be sure to moisturize with ION conditioning cream with a shower cap on for about 30 - 60 mins. Blonde is harsh on your hair so moisturizing is a must.
This is a process but it is worth it.

on 5/17/2008 Right On Dra! I have resorted to using a light brown from "Nice and Easy" and then spend as much time as I can out in the Sun.. This is much more convenient and far Less Expensive process than most Hair Salons! Oh and those Caps and pulling the hair thru killed me.. Men are just not able to take the pain.. LOL, that women can.. Bailey
