How to Clean Unsealed Tile Floor Grout

Cleaning tile grout is as easy as 1-2-3!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Bleach
• A scrub brush
• Two buckets, one with some water
• Rubber gloves

1. Be sure to wear rubber gloves, as bleach will burn your skin!
2. Pour some bleach into one bucket and use this bucket and scrub brush to srub the grout a section at a time. The bleach will clean the grout quickly!
3. Dip the brush in the bucket of water, and scrub the bleached areas after each section bleached, to rinse! Now you have sparkling clean grout!

Tips & Warnings

• Clean manageable sections at a time
• A Gardening kneeling pad will save your knees
• Take a pain releiver such as Tylenol when you are done! It'll help if there is any soreness in your arms or back! (For us old folk!)
• When clean, seal your grout with a commercial sealer
• Do not use bleach without rubber gloves! Ouch!
