Instructions

Things You'll Need:

A phone
A woman (with a phone number)
An interaction

Step 1

It helps if you're not alone. Go find someone, talk to them

Are you already having an interaction? You're going to need to be in one for this to work. You need at least one other person around, and you need to be talking to them in order to go any further.

Step 2

Awesome! Now you're talking. This is great.

Now that you're talking to someone, we can move on. You need to be engaged in a decent conversation for us to continue. You can't just stroll up to someone and ask for her number....it might come across as creepy. And creepy isn't attractive. So, have a nice conversation, get comfortable with it.
Step 3

See this guy? He's screening.

Over the course of this conversation, you might ask yourself 2 questions:

1. Is this someone I want to speak to again?
2. Is this someone I want to see again, in another environment, at another time?

This is called "Evaluating the Interaction" Basically, you're deciding whether or not you want to continue talking to her or if you want her phone number at all. This is also called "screening".

Should you find that you don't want this particular person's number, stop here. Wish the person a good night, smile and move on to another person. It's okay if this one didn't pan out.
Step 4

She's laughing. Consider her vibe spiked.

Hopefully, if you've reached this step, you've decided to get that phone number. Awesome! Okay, you now need to "Spike the Vibe" which sounds way more odd than it really is. Basically, all you need to do is remember this fact:

It's easier to get number when she's interested, when she's laughing and when she's having a good time.

Think about that for a moment. Seem kind of obvious, right? People who are enjoying themselves are more likely to do things (like give out phone numbers) that contribute to have a good time later if they're having a good time now. So....keep smiling. Laugh. Tell a joke. Stay relaxed. Have a good time. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy her company.
Step 5

Here comes the critical moment....you're going to EXCHANGE numbers. Yes, I said exchange numbers. Why give yours to get hers? Because if you just ask for hers, that's hardly fair. It comes across as creepy if you do all the taking and no giving. So, to be fair to her, and be less creepy, give your number.

You do want to talk to her, right? Is it really that big a deal?

Give her your number, and get one in return. Just so that you don't have to juggle napkins or lose the scrap of paper - put it straight into your phone. Or have her do it. And you do the same for her.

Once you swap digits, call her. Yes, right while she's standing there. Be cool, you're doing 2 things:

1. You're still having a good time, and this is fun
2. You're checking to see if her number is good. (People give out bogus numbers, if you get one, it's not her fault. Try again with someone else.)

Congratulations! You just got her phone number.
