Step 1
Buy clothing at the end of the season. It is amazing how inexpensive your favorite items can be at the end of the year. While it will not help you out immediately, you will love it when you pull out clothes with tags on them next year.
-
Step 2
Most people donate, give, throw away or sell clothes every year. Go to freecycle.com. You can look under others posts or you can post under wanted. Freecycle allows people to help others in their community and it is free.
-
Step 3
Garage sales!!! Loaded with lots of clothes that people didnt wear, or dont wear anymore. Styles range from jeans to business wear.
-
Step 4
Second hand stores. There are many upscale stores that dont charge outrageous prices. many have coupons or frequent guest card to save even more. many will also take your old clothes on consignment. You could use this money to fund your new wardrobe.
-
Step 5
Thrift shops also offer a wide variety at great prices.
-
Step 6
Ask friends to remember you when they go through their closets. Again, many people are going to throw them away or donate them anyway. What a wonderful way to obtain clothes and go green!!

on 5/19/2008 I think it is important to treat yourself at least to a few pieces of maternity clothes you LOVE during your pregnancy. It is possible to find clothes you are crazy about in this day in age. Maternity clothes have come a long way. Another great thing I have discovered is the bossom button. No more safety pinning your top! This neat invention lets you fashionable close gaping tops, something pregnant women can experience a lot! I got mine at Melissa Renee Maternity (an online maternity boutique). Here is the direct link ladies http://www.melissareneematernity.com/bosombutton.htm
