      If you made less than 3,000 dollars you will not get a rebate check that includes those that were unemployed.

      Those that do not have Social Security Numbers you will not get a rebate check. If you are married and your filed your return with your spouse that does not have a social security number you will not get a rebate, you could get one if you filed seperatley, contact the IRS if you are unsure.

      If you are rich, and made $75,000 for single filers and $ 150,000 for Married Couples during 2007 may not get a rebate check see explanation below.

      Filers with income above those levels lose 5% of the dollar amount above the cap -- Example $50 for each $1,000 amount over the threshold. It doesn't meaneveryone with the above incomes will get zero. It just means many of those people will get reduced amounts, while others will may get none.

      If did not file your taxes for 2007 you will not get a check. Those that have past due taxes, child support, have an IRS statement you may have your rebate reduced or none at all.

      If you fit in any of the above categories you will not get a check, if you have not filed your taxes yet because you filed an extension, and you're eligible, you can get your payment next year when you file your return for 2008
