Are you looking for an easy recipe that will allow you to eat delicious barbecue without all of the fuss? Here is one you will want to try. It's a recipe that calls for little prep time, but still delivers a great dish.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your Favorite Meat
  • Lawry's Seasoning Salt
  • 3-Quart Roasting/Baking Pan
  • 2 to 4 bottles of barbecue sauce
  • Aluminum Foil

Step1
Pull out your favorite meat.

Are you a rib lover? Maybe you enjoy chicken or sausage links? Whichever meat spins your wheel, pull it out of the fridge. Rinse it off under cool water and place it on a plate.
Step2
Sprinkle your meat with Lawry's Seasoning Salt (or the seasoning of your choice).

Lawry's Seasoning Salt packs a lot of punch, so it's great on meat. But, if you don't like it or have a weird superstition about it, use salt and pepper. Be sure to sprinkle this seasoning liberally over ribs, ground meat and chicken. Go light on any sausage link or hot dog.
Step3
Place your meat in the roasting pan and cover with foil.

Try to arrange your meat in the roasting pan so that every piece touches the bottom. This probably will be the longest part of your prep time. If you don't like different flavors mixing together, use a different pan for each portions of your meat. In other words, place all of your ribs in one roasting pan and your chicken or links in another roasting pan.
Step4
Pour a bottle of barbecue sauce over all of the meat.

Pour a bottle of barbecue sauce over all of the meat and mix it around with your hands. Try to make sure it touches ever part of the meat. Keep some sauce on side just in case you want to add more as the meat cooks.
Step5
Stick your roasting pot (filled with meat) in the oven and cook for 1 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.

Cook your meat for at least one hour in order to let the barbecue sauce soak in and the meat to cook. You can do it longer or even shorter depending on how tender you want your food. Just remember that ribs and steak take longer to cook than other meats. So, you'll want to keep them in the oven for almost two hours in order to get the right amount of tenderness.
Step6
Place your finished meat on a serving plate.

After your meat is done, place it on a serving plate. Then, serve to your guests.

Tips & Warnings

  • As your meat cooks, check it every 30 minutes.
  • Save a little barbecue sauce for dipping and eating.
  • Use tongs or plastic gloves if you hate getting your hands dirty while cooking.
