How to Create More Storage Space Under a Bed

Extra storage space is something we could all use. The good news is that there are nooks and crannies all over your home that make excellent places to hide your junk. Your bed is an ideal place to store your stuff. Read on to learn how to create more storage space under a bed.

Things You’ll Need:

• * Storage bins, fairly flat
• * Bed lifts

1. Purchase "bed lifts" from your local linens/housewares store. Bed lifts are inexpensive, and easy to install.
2. Place one bed lift under each foot of your bed (you will need a partner to do this) and see how your bed is raised about six more inches.
3. Purchase some long, fairly flat storage bins. About 2 feet long, 6 inches deep work best.
4. Also, take your empty suitcases and fill them with odds and ends you are looking to store. Place suitcases under your bed as well.
5. You may also stow suitcases inside of one another and place under your bed.
