Spray disinfectant throughout your home. You'll especially want to do this on door handles, your couch, in your bedroom and any other rooms that your wife spends a good amount of time in. Killing germs is an easy and affective way to remain healthy.

Wash your hands roughly once an hour when at home. This goes along with using the disinfectant. Chances are that you'll touch something, such as a door handle or a telephone, that your sick wife has used. Once again, this will help to kill any germs and bacteria that may be on your hand.

Take plenty of Vitamin C when your wife is sick. Vitamin C is vital for your immune system. Eating oranges, drinking orange juice or simply taking a daily supplement are all easy ways to get Vitamin C into your body.

Try to get out of the house when possible. When your wife is sick, she'll most likely want you to spend some time with her. After all, being sick makes anybody miserable and nobody wants to be alone when he or she is sick. However, it's important for your health that you don't spend too much time around sick people. Offer to run errands for your wife or go for an outdoor run while your wife is taking a nap.

If you begin to feel sick yourself, begin taking medicine immediately. Doing so could help you to fight off the sickness that your wife is battling. Don't wait until you are very sick to begin taking medicine. You want to try to fight off the virus before you become as sick as your wife.
