    • Facial cleaner
    • Towel
    • Bowl
    • Hot water
    • Face cloth

        Wash face.

        Wash your face in your usual manner. Pat dry with a towel.

        Add water to bowl.

        Put some hot water into a bowl.

        Face cloth dipped in hot water

        Dip the face cloth into the hot water and wring out some excess. Or dampen a face cloth and pop it in the microwave. Start with 15 seconds. You might need a longer or shorter time, depending upon your microwave. Handle carefully when taking it out of the microwave.

        Apply face cloth

        Place the entire face cloth over your face, testing it to make sure it feels or or very warm, but not too hot. You might want to lay down or lean back in a comfortable chair.

        Cover with towel.

        If you like, cover the face cloth with the dry towel, to help hold in the heat.

        When the face cloth feels as though it is cooling down, repeat Steps 3 through 5 a couple more times.
