How to Make a Personalized Name Bracelet

If you would like a unique piece of jewelry to add to your collection, try creating your own special kind of bracelet with your name on it. You can add your favorite colored beads with cool designs, and then add your first and last name, or just use your initials. By purchasing simple materials such as letter beads, a few colored glass beads and some string, you can have a great new piece of jewelry that your friends just might want too!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Letter beads
• Favorite colored glass beads or ones with your favorite design or pattern
• Silver or metal spacer beads (optional)
• Beading string
• A clasp if it won't be a stretch bracelet

1. 

   Gather your supplies together and lay them in your work area. Trim the length of your bead wire so that it will fit around the wrist while leaving extra available to attach your clasp or so that you can tie your bracelet in a knot..

2. 

   Begin stringing your letter beads onto your string. String each letter until you have spelled out your name. If you would like to use your middle initial or spell your last name, you could put a colored bead in between to split up both parts of your name.

3. Add your favorite colored or design beads on both sides of your name. You can also add metal or silver spacer beads to add some shine to your bracelet, too.

4. 

   Tie your beading string into a knot or tie your clasp on once all of your beads have been strung. Place it on your wrist and wear it with your favorite outfits. Be ready for your friends and family to ask you to make them one, too!

Tips & Warnings

• You can create your bracelet so that you can interchange your bead colors as well. If its a stretch bracelet, you can untie your bracelet and add other colored beads to match your favorite outfits.
