Things You’ll Need:

• Flying disc
• Treats

1. Purchase a flying disc that is appropriate for your dog. There are soft and hard discs.
2. Slowly introduce the toy to the dog by playing tug of war, but always let your dog win.
3. Praise the dog when it wants to take the disc out of your hand.
4. Throw the disc and see if your dog runs after it. Another way to throw it is to roll it on the ground.
5. When the dog runs after it or catches it, praise him verbally and with a treat.
6. After the dog catches the disc, call the dog to bring it back to you. Praise the dog when it gives it back.
