How to Save a Group of Internet Explorer Tabs

Beginning with Internet Explorer 7, the browser windows have a feature called tabbed browsing. With tabbed browsing, you can open several websites in one browser window. One handy way to use tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer is saving a group of tabs in your “Favorites.” These steps will show you how to save a group of Internet Explorer tabs.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer using Internet Explorer browser, version 7 or higher

1. 

   Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop. Alternatively, you can click the “Start” button, clicking “Programs” or “All Programs,” and choosing "Internet Explorer" from the list of installed programs.

2. 

   Open as many new tabs as you will need by clicking the new tab button, or by using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+T."

3. 

   In each tab, navigate to a website you want to save in the group of tabs.

4. 

   Click the “Add to Favorites” button.

5. 

   Click “Add Tab Group to Favorites.” The “Favorites Center” dialog box will open.

6. 

   Enter a folder name for this group and click “Add.”
