How to Import Music Files Into Windows Movie Maker

Instructions

1. First of all, you need to make sure the song you want to import is in MP3 format, not MP4 format. To do this, you need to rip the song to your computer with Windows Media Player.

2. Open Windows Movie Maker by going to the start menu and highlighting "All Programs." Windows Movie Maker will be one of the options. Click on WMM.

3. Click "File" and scroll down to "Import Into Collections." Find the file you want and click on it.

4. Once you have it on your storyboard, drag the file down to the timeline below and set it where you would like it in conjunction with the video.
