Waking up in the morning is never a favorite thing to do of anyone, even the so called "morning people". When you find yourself in a circumstance where you need to wake up a few hours earlier than usual, it can make the process even more painful.         Getting enough sleep is the first step to waking up early. Aim to go to bed 8 hours before you need to wake up. If this is impossible, still aim to get as many hours as you can.

        Your bed time will most likely be earlier than normal so take some time to calm down before you try and hit the sack. Make a cup of herbal tea and sit in a comfortable place reading a relaxing book or watching a relaxing TV show in your pajamas.

        As you get in bed set your alarm for the exact time you need to wake up. Early mornings are not a great time to use the snooze button because there is too much potential to fall back asleep.
