There is an art to mingling with those who believe in a different manner than you believe. As a Republican at a Democratic Convention, this is one of those cases.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
If you are a Republican, there are two ways to attend a Democratic convention. Above all, to attend, you need to be a citizen of the United States, a registered voter, have voted in local elections and attended caucus.
Step2
Become a member of the press. As a credentialed member of the press it is allowable to attend a Democratic convention as a Republican. Of course, the role of press member is not to voice your party affiliation, but rather observe and report in an unbiased way the events of the convention.
Step3
Become a volunteer. The Democratic convention and the Republican conventions always needs thousands of volunteers. However, in order to participate in this way an application has to be completed and accepted. But, can a Republican be a volunteer. Why not?
Step4
A last resort is to attend long distance by watching one of the many television stations that will be covering the Democratic convention. Of course, editorial comments abound, and bias is a burden as well, but still, the Democratic convention is in your living room.
