Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Marquee Tool
- Gradient Tool
- Paint Bucket Tool
Step1
How to figure out the size you want for your border is this. Im going to have a border with a width of 727. Then you figure out what size you want your bars. Im going to have a 10 pixel bar with a 5 pixel bar infront of it.
So... 727+10+10+5+5 = 757
Size = (for me) 757 x 15
Step2
Now Pick a color for your main Bg (middle). I'm going to use... Orange: BB7700.
Step3
Now make a new layer. Get out your Single column Marquee Tool.
Now select the very end of the left side, then fill it with black. then press the right arrow (-> on your keyboard) 10 times.. that will be 10 pixels wide wink.gif. Now fill it with black again. Now press the right arrow again 5 times. Then fill it.
Step4
Now on the same layer, Get out your Rectangular Marquee Tool (look below for the picture) Select imbetween the 2 bars (the 10 pixel bars or whatever you made)
Then get out your gradient tool. Make it Foreground to Background, then make a straight line across the selected area. I used colors orange: 9A6200 and BB7700.
Now get out your paint bucket tool, and get a color that is lighter than the rest of the BG and fill inbetween the 5 pixel bars.
Step5
Duplicate the layer (Layer2) then Edit>> Transform >> Flip Horizontal. Then move that duplicated layer all the way to the right.
Step6
Now your done with the graphics! Now code time! Put this code in your Global Headers.
Then put the URL of your BG that you made!
